what is crystal healing?

Crystal Healing is one of those subjects that can seem a little 'out there' to some people. To some, healing crystals are just seen as stones, nothing special at all, but when you really think about what Crystals are, it actually starts to make sense of how these beautiful, stunning pieces of our Mother Earth can actually help us. Everything and anything gives off energy and healing Crystals have been gathering the Earths energy for millions of years underground. ​

​The Crystals that we use have been forming underground for millions of years, which means they are part of the Earth, which also means that they hold a huge amount of its energy. A crystals type of energy is determined by the conditions it grows in and the minerals it is formed from. It is said that different Crystals can help with different issues that a person is having such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, menstrual pain, headaches etc

Healing Crystals are often used to balance our body Chakras. During a Chakra Healing session, certain Crystals are placed on a certain part of the body (a certain Chakra) in order to clear any blockages which is stopping the body from running smoothly. I have a specific large collection which I use for Chakra healing and clearing. ​

Crystals can be used for a stand alone Crystal Healing treatment or they can be used as part of another therapy such as Reiki.  I love to place all of the Chakra Crystals down the body as I am practising Reiki, of course it is completely up to the client whether they are used or not. It is said that due to there being so much energy and vibrations from the Earth in a crystal, it has the ability to connect with our own energy to alter imbalances in the body.

During a treatment, Crystals are placed either around or directly on the body in order to balance the body physically, mentally, emotionally and Spiritually. As I said, different Crystals help with different issues, for example Amethyst is known to enhance Spiritual awareness, soothes and calms the mind, purifies negative energy and relieves stress and anxiety.  Here I have only stated a few, Amethyst has so many benefits because it is one of the most powerful. It is a Crystal that I always have near during Meditation. ​

There are so many Crystals that it would be impossible to list them all with their healing properties in this blog, (unless you want to be reading this for hours on end) so I will just do a summary of how Crystals in general can help your health and well being.
