From as early as I can remember I felt drawn to care, nurture and to bring light to others. As a child I dreamt of becoming a nurse. I loved singing, dancing and creating happy vibrations wherever I went. My fascination with crystals, history and sacred places grew with every family holiday to Cornwall, the Lake District and Wales. Stories of Merlin, pirates and witchcraft stirred something deep within me.  I still remember walking through the witchcraft museum at 14 absorbing every detail. ​

My fascination with crystals, history and sacred places grew with every family holiday to Cornwall, the Lake District and Wales. Stories of Merlin, pirates and witchcraft stirred something deep within me.  I still remember walking through the witchcraft museum at 14 absorbing every detail. Around this same time my parents gifted me a subscription to Mind, Body and Spirit magazine where I discovered Tarot, mediumship, Reiki and healing herbs. It felt like a whole new world had opened within and around me. ​

It felt like a whole new world had opened within and around me. During my nursing studies at college I was introduced to complementary therapies, meditation and mindfulness, Reflexology, Reiki and even more in depth information about crystals. After this nursing just didn't feel right to me. It was too rushed, too stressful and impossible to balance family life. In 2016 I opened up a home based nursery caring for children, which still remains one of my greatest joys.

After this nursing just didn't feel right to me. It was too rushed, too stressful and impossible to balance family life. In 2016 I opened up a home based nursery caring for children, which still remains one of my greatest joys.

When the pandemic hit my spirituality started to unravel, I was waking up each morning at 4.44 feeling sick, restless and plagued by vivid dreams. My weight started to fall away and I felt like I was losing myself. Through the chaos though signs started to appear..messages in music and synchronicities everywhere I went. One song in particular spoke to me, Enya's mention of Avalon. That word began to follow me everywhere pulling me towards Merlin, Glastonbury (not the festival by the way) and the magic of the old ways.

My world was opening up with mystery, synchronicities and guidance. At a mind, body and spirit festival a flute was played over my chest.  I felt an instant stagnant energy clear in an instant leaving me lighter than I had felt in years. This was the beginning of my path as a white witchy healer. I began meditating and joined women's circles, finding a sisterhood that I had craved for. With my confidence returning I even stepped into a boudoir photo shoot, something that I never would have done. Sitting there watching the slideshow on my photos I realised that I had found myself and my confidence again. Soon after I pushed myself even further out of my comfort zone by attending a woman's retreat. ​

I drove alone, camped alone and arrived without knowing a single soul there. By divine synchronicity I met six women who all shared the same birthday as me. That weekend I dressed as a butterfly to symbolise transformation. I shed the weight of my past and even walked barefoot across a fire to Alicia Keys This girl is on fire. Whilst I was there I tied a leather cord around my wrist. This ritual promised that it would fall off once I was on the right path.  A year later I passed a healing shop which I had never noticed before. Soon after that I saw a post on Facebook where the owner of this shop was looking for a new therapist. 

I felt an overwhelming nudge to reach out to he, we met that very evening and instantly felt connected. As we explored the treatment room and was being shown the equipment etc to use, I lifted the hot stone heater lid and my red cord from my wrist fell off! We laughed in amazement knowing that the universe had spoken and steered me where I needed to be. Sam offered me the role there and then, it has been an incredible journey every since. Fast forward to two years later and now myself and Sam are co owners of Bliss Holistic Healing. 

From the little girl enchanted by crystals and Merlin, the the woman who has embraced her calling as a healer and a witch, my journey has been one of synchronicity, courage and trust.  Today I walk my path with gratitude, holding space for others to heal, grow and awaken the magic within themselves.
